Slanted #8
Entitled »2d3d«, the latest issue of the magazine focuses on increasing the dimensions of linearity in space. More so than ever before, Slanted crosses geographical borders to present the work of Edhv (Eindhoven), Klein Dytham architecture (Tokyo), Pixelgarten (Frankfurt), Maxime Buechi (Lausanne), Ina Saltz (New York), Erwin Bauer (Vienna), Sangho Park (Stuttgart) and many others. Along with a portrait of the Buchstabenmuseum Berlin (Museum of Alphabetic Characters), Slanted presents contemporary fonts and designers from around the world. The issue features interviews with Sabrina Tibourtine, Christoph Dunst, Sipho Mabona, Gemma O'Brien and the venerable master David Carson. The chapter headings are adorned with the headline font “NeoDepth S8,” which Hubert Jocham designed exclusively for this edition. Readers of this issue receive a free download of the font.
