Slanted Magazine #9

Slanted Magazine #9 presents the work of Gavillet & Rust and their font label Optimo (Geneva), the large-format artworks of Christopher Wool (New York), the photo-essay on Afghanistan by François Fleury (Paris). Readers can delve into interviews with John Boardley, Kouga Hirano and Chip Kidd as well as an essay on type by Hannes von Döhren, plus several (stencil) projects by professionals and students. Coinciding with the publication of the stencil issue, the successful blog is launching its Slanted Typography portal. A small registration fee grants designers access to the site, where they can present their latest fonts or typographic work to the industry.
