Museo Extremeño e Iberoamericano de Arte Contemporáneo (MEIAC), Badajoz
As part of the MEIAC's programme of temporary exhibitions and with the goal of promoting the historiography of Iberian-American art forms, the show provides a broad overview of artistic expression between Portugal and Spain from 1890 to 1936. The exhibition focuses on the direct relationship between authors of the two Iberian countries and artists excluded from the official art histories. In other words, it is a reconstruction of an artistic period, which left its mark on the cultural future of the Iberian Peninsula's history throughout the 20th century.
