Museo de Artes Decorativas Franz Mayer, México D.F.
The exhibition presents 70 black and white photographs by the German-born, Mexican photographer, taken between 1905 and 1911. Brehme is considered one of the great photographic talents in Mexican history, and the exhibition is showing some of his lesser known work, depicting places and figures of the revolution like Zapata and Madero. The exhibition consists of pieces from the Instituto Iberoamericano in Berlin, the Museum of Hamburg, the INAH archives of the Fototeca Nacional of Pachua and the Franz Mayer Museum.
