Brazilian Design Biennial 2010. Design, Innovation and Sustainability

Exhibitions, seminars, conferences, workshops, courses and parallel activities constitute the majority of activities at the Brazilian biennial entitled “Design, Innovation and Sustainability”. Clearly international in focus, the event aims to reflect models of consumption that do not compromise the future of the environment. Organised by Adélia Borges, the biennial will take place simultaneously at various locations in Curitiva, including institutional and private venues and spaces that attract a steady flow of visitors. With the help of designers and creatives, the event expects to attract 250 thousand visitors, including industry professionals, others working in related sectors and the general public as well as a flow of about half a million visits to the virtual exhibitions.
