The World of Escher
Casa Colombatti-Cavazzini, Udine

In the countdown until the Colombatti Cavazzini House is inaugurated as the new home of the Udine Modern Art Gallery, its exhibition rooms are hosting a monographic show dedicated to Escher. The exhibition features a selection of the more famous and intriguing of the great Dutch maestro work of etchings and prints, from representations of impossible worlds to compositions of forms and metamorphoses deriving from a fusion of art and scientific thinking. In addition to admiring Escher’s works, visitors can also get a much better idea of the thinking that led to his extraordinary way of seeing the world.
