A new comics anthology being launched this September in London and Bristol is calling for submissions and contributions. Called 'OFF LIFE', the publication, which will come out every two months, is hoping to showcase work by new and up-and-coming creative talents and publish stories about everything from global themes and personal politics to cultural concerns and everyday issues. Initially, there will be no payment for contributions, but income from magazine sales will be ploughed back into further issues, and each story published will have contact details for the artists and remain the intellectual property of those artists. The deadline for issue one submissions is 24 August 2012, but OFF LIFE will continue to accept submissions for its second issue beyond that date. The anthology will be distributed free in galleries, shops and venues, but a high-quality digital version of each issue will go on the OFF LIFE website on the same day as print distribution. To find out more about submission requirements, visit offlife.co.uk, or to submit a story, email email@example.com with the subject heading ‘SUBMISSIONS’.
