We hereby invite you to take part in the sixth edition of the Top Applications Awards - the competition dedicated to everyone specifying and using Fedrigoni papers in prestige graphics projects. Guests cpuntry: Korea
The "book publishing" category is dedicated to the memory of Gianfranco Fedrigoni (1905-1991), who gave the family company a modern setting that is still pursued today, thereby positioning it among the leading European paper mills. Gianfranco Fedrigoni was always a particularly attentive admirer of the publishing world, where he made long-lasting friendships with important publishers - and produced for them the "made-to-measure" papers used in their prestige collections.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
Publishers, final clients, agencies and printers implementing between June 2009 and May 2010 prestige projects using the special papers in the Fedrigoni ranges in the categories listed below. Every participant may enter several projects.
THE CATEGORIES
- Book Publishing - Hardback (dedicated to Gianfranco Fedrigoni) : prestigious volumes.
- Book Publishing - Paperback: books and catalogues, artist's folders
- Corporate Publishing: broshures, monographs, product catalogues, reports, corporate, stationery, mailings, greetings cards, calendars, notebooks, diaries, give-aways
- Packaging: cases, boxes, shoppers, labels, display-units
ALL PRINTING TECHNIQUES ARE ADMITTED - BOTH DIGITAL AND TRADITIONAL.
HOW TO TAKE PART
To enter a project in the Top Applications Awards, simply visit the Internet site www.paperideas.it/topapplications and follow the instructions to input all information requested and print the summary data card. The work must be delivered, complete with Identity Card, to the Fedrigoni branch of reference (see Contacts) or the area distributor or Fedrigoni Cartiere-marketing, no later than 20th May 2010. Works sent will not be returned.
PUBLICATION AND PRIVACY CONSENT
In order to allow Fedrigoni Cartiere to publish images and information about award-winning or selected projects on the site www.paperideas.it and in other printed publications, the explicit consent of the owner of the project (principal) and everyone involved in its development (creative designer:, printer) must be obtained; issuing such Consent is part of the on-line enrolment procedure.
JURY
An independent international jury of experts from the worlds of conceptual and theoretical design, journalism, universities and institutions will assess projects submitted in each category on the basis of criteria highlighting originality, function, expertise and creativity in the use of paper media

AWARD WINNERS
The top projects in each reference category will involve awards for all the targets involved (final user, creative agency, graphics company/printer).
THE AWARDS
Award-winning projects will be exhibited during an Exhibition held at the Milan Triennial. A catalogue of award winners and special mentions will also be published and distributed.
AWARD PRESENTATION
Winners will receive their awards during the inauguration of the Exhibition at the Triennial.
